Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 3 large garlic cloves, minced
- 1 jalapeno, minced

1 tsp Rumi Ground Wild Black Cumin (ground)
- 1 Carton Matriark Tomato Basil Sauce
- 1 ½ cup vegetable broth

15 oz SIMPLi Black Beans (pre-soaked and cooked)

15 oz SIMPLi Kidney Beans (pre-soaked and cooked)
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- Serve with cilantro, shredded cheese (toppings of choice)
Directions
Add the oil to a large pot and heat over medium heat. Add in the onion and season with a pinch of salt. Saute until beginning to soften, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add the jalapeno and garlic. Cook for an additional minute.
- Add the Southwest Chili spice and wild black cumin. Stir until fragrant, and follow with the Matriark Tomato Basil Sauce and 1.5 cups vegetable broth.
- Bring to a simmer, then add the black beans and kidney beans.
- Simmer about 25 minutes.
- Serve with your favorite toppings!
