Brunch just isn’t brunch without a cool, refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) to add a touch of fizz, sweetness, or sour to your meal. Try one of these 5 creative brunch drinks from a reinvented mimosa to a flavorful blood Mary that will keep your family & friends coming back for more.

 

Brunch Drinks with Vodka


Spicy Bloody Mary Recipe

Bloody Mary’s are the savory morning cocktails that are full of spice and rich tomatoes. Add flavor and a bit of spice to your Bloody Mary with a touch of our Sweet & Smoky Paella Spice Blend.
For 2 drinks:
Spice the rim of your glasses.
In a bowl, mix 1 Tbsp Paella Spice Blend + 1 Tbsp salt. Dip the rim of the glasses in a shallow bowl of water. Then, dip the moist rims in the seasoning.
Fill your glasses with ice cubes then, in a cocktail mixer combine:
  • 1 ½ oz of vodka
  • 1 ½ cups of tomato juice
  • 1 Tbsp of Paella Spice Blend
  • 4 dashes of Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt
  • 1 dash of Tabasco hot sauce
Shake vigorously and strain into your glasses. Garnish with a stalk of celery and olives stuck into toothpicks.

Saffron Morning Mule Recipe

This recipe takes our popular Saffron Mule recipe and puts a morning spin on it with orange juice.
For 2 drinks, combine:
  •  1 ½ oz of vodka
  • ½ cup orange juice 
  • ½ cup ginger beer 
  • 1 pinch Rumi saffron
Stir to combine. Let sit in the fridge to chill and to allow the saffron to steep for about 15 minutes before serving.

Brunch Drinks with Champagne


Saffron Strawberry Bellini Recipe

Typical bellinis are made with Prosecco and peach puree or juice. This recipe for saffron strawberry bellinis pairs the floral taste of saffron with the sweetness of strawberries.
For 2 drinks, in a blender, blend together:
Strain the strawberry mixture of any chunks and pour it into glasses and top with the champagne of your choice.


Saffron Mimosa Recipe

Elevate the classic brunch drink with the Queen of all spices. The taste of saffron pairs well with citrus fruits like orange.
For 6 drinks, combine:
  • 3 cups of fresh squeezed orange juice
  • 1 pinch of saffron
Let sit in the fridge to chill and to allow the saffron to steep for about 15 minutes before serving.
Then, fill your champagne flutes ⅔ full with chilled champagne. Top with the saffron orange juice until the glass is full (do not stir). 

A Brunch Drink with Rum


Saffron Rum Brunch Punch Recipe

If you are a fan of boozy brunch, a brunch rum punch that “packs a punch” is perfect for you. Combining both light and dark rums with fruit juices and a touch of saffron, this recipe is strong, but sweet and delicious.
For 6 servings, In a pitcher, combine:
  • ½ cup of light rum
  • ½ cup of dark rum
  • ¾ cup of orange juice
  • ¾ cup of pineapple juice
  • ¾ cup of cranberry juice
  • 2 Tbsp of grenadine
  • 1 pinch of Rumi saffron
Stir to combine and let sit in the fridge to chill and to allow the saffron to steep for about 15 minutes before serving.
